Announcing the Methodist Dallas Finish Festival

We’re so excited to announce the Methodist Dallas Finish Festival, featuring music and entertainment for all at City Hall Plaza from 9:30am-1:00pm on November 4.

The festival will be headlined by DJ Spinderella of Salt-N-Pepa. DJ Spinderella is a Grammy award winning DJ, producer, rapper, writer and world class mother. Spinderella is one of the original pioneers of hip hop music beginning her career as a member of the iconic rap group Salt-N-Pepa, selling over 15 million albums and singles worldwide. The stage will also host Petty Theft, with lead singer Mike Rhyner of Sportsradio 1310 The Ticket and DJSC, the exclusive DJ of the Dallas Cowboys.

Festival activities will include: a free cool-down yoga session from Methodist Health instructors, a Health & Wellness Zone presented by Cigna, treats from KIND Healthy Snacks, a Kids’ Zone with family-friendly activities, food trucks, a Community Bike Village and a bike-valet. There will fun things to do for all ages from the event’s founding partners, Dallas Sports Commission, Downtown Dallas Inc., Uptown Dallas Inc., and the event’s non-profit beneficiaries BikeTexas and Incarnation House. Early Bird Registration Extended!

Since we just released the course map, we’ve decided to give you one more week to register at the Early Bird Rate!

Here’s what you need to know:

– Dallas Bike Ride is your only chance to bike around Dallas car-free

– Early Bird pricing has been extended until 11:59pm CT on Friday, September 8

– You save $15 when you register an adult rider during early bird registration

– The price for an adult rider will increase to $60 for standard registration

– Youth ages 8 to 15 are always half-price standard registration – just $30

– Kids ages 3 t0 7 are always FREE

Announcing the Official Course Map

We are excited to announce, along with our founding partners Dallas Sports Commission, Downtown Dallas Inc., Uptown Dallas Inc., and Visit Dallas, the official 2017 Dallas Bike Ride course map.

The first ever Dallas Bike Ride is schedule for Saturday, November 1st from 8am to 1pm. With 20-miles of closed-roads, this is your only chance to bike around the neighborhoods of Dallas with zero cars. Dallas Bike Ride is a recreational, leisurely and family friendly ride for all biking abilities.

Here’s a sneak peek of the Dallas Bike Ride route: 20-miles of car-free roads through some of Dallas’ best neighborhoods:

The route starts and finishes Downtown at City Hall Plaza, goes through Uptown, the Design District, along West Dallas, down into Kessler and Oak Cliff before crossing back into downtown. We’ll have a more details map available soon!


Early Bird Registration opens next week

Special announcement: Early Bird Registration for the inaugural Dallas Bike Ride opens on Wednesday, July 26th!

Early Bird Registration is only $45, and includes a 20-mile car-free route, a snazzy Dallas Bike Ride water bottle, your Rider Identification Kit, an invite to the Packet Pick Up Party (say that five times fast) at The Rustic in Uptown, sponsor giveaways, on-course entertainment, and a fun celebration at the Finish Festival with live entertainment and activities.

For families, you can register your kids ages 8 to 15 for just $30, and youth ride-a-longs ages 3 to 7 are always free.

Announcing Dallas Bike Ride

Get ready to celebrate life on two wheels.

Dallas Bike Ride, the city’s only recreational bike event on closed-roads, is coming to the Big D for the first time this fall!

Dallas Bike Ride is the one day a year that you get to bike 20 miles around your city with 0 cars. The event will take place on Saturday, November 4th and will start and end downtown at Dallas City Hall. The ride will feature miles of car-free bicycling, urban and historic landmarks, breathtaking skyline views, an up-close look at the neighborhoods that make Dallas the great city that it is, on-course entertainment and Finish Festival for you to celebrate in style.

Dallas Bike Ride is all about bringing together great people who like to ride bicycles, celebrating the great city that is Dallas, supporting a great local purpose, and bringing together a community for a great party.
