I rode the first one (2017) and was so surprised and excited about the event, activities and entertainment. I've been riding for several years and in many cycling events throughout Texas and Oklahoma and the Dallas Bike Ride rates among the best. Excellent rider support and event organization. It was a great.
Bike ride went through some of the most beautiful areas of Dallas. Organizers clearly marked the route, there were aide stations for breaks, there were signs for rough roads, steep hills, when to slow down. Street potholes were clearly marked. It was an amazing ride. Lots of great vendors before/after the event. Great start to a Saturday, hope they have another one soon.
Great event for all skill levels! Very well organized, and so wonderful that the City of Dallas allowed the streets along the route to be closed, and monitored by DPD and other law enforcement. One of the volunteers at the third rest stop was fantastic, making sure everyone was okay and directing them to the amenities. Kudos for a great event! We’ll be back next year!
